People

The communities of the Hunter Valley were settled, built, developed and governed by a unique group of people. Many of these people had direct ties to the mining industry, which has always had an impact on life in the Hunter Valley.  The following list of people and their stories represent only a small fraction of the diverse, resourceful and hard-working people who have shaped the Hunter Valley.
